ABOUT
Welcome to The Deep South. This is a comic strip where works of art are ripped out of context and then transported into the deep south. No animals were hurt in the course of writing this comic strip.

THE AUTHOR
The author created this comic strip mostly because he was bored. Homophobia has been the topic of late. But rest assured, when he gets the energy to get off the mental couch, he will tackle more serious issues like Donald Trump's comb-over. You can read more about him at No Milk Please.

DISCLAIMER
Don't be so vain. You probably think this comic strip is about you, don't you, don't you? The Deep South is that state of mind where ignorance, small-mindedness or Strom Thurmond resides. It is not about your state unless you're one of those states that thinks marriage needs to be "defended" from gays instead of Britney Spears, then yes, this is so absolutely about you.

This is my gun. My paw and I went shooting birds and squirrels and other critters. I got a coon right between the eyes! | Thank you Jimmy, that was a wonderful story! I have two Moms. I love them and they love me. They are gay. Gay is when a girl and a girl love each other…
Please Stop Betty!!! You can’t say the word 'gay' in class! You can't say your family loves each other! That's obscene! You will write 'I WILL NOT SAY GAY IN SCHOOL AGAIN' 100 times and then go to see the principal! OK next, Bart will show us the black eye his dad gave him when he didn't do his homework...

Queers and their disgraceful behavior. They claim to teach men to please women! What do queers know about women? Ah, the lascivious one. Always touching, that one. Men have no need to shop! And they need only ONE pair of underwear! If I forget to wash, they can turn it over and wear it again!
Manscaping? What on earth for? I try not to look down there anyway. Let the men grow their bushes--it hides their man stick, makes it look smaller, less threatening... They are trying to make our men gay by teaching them to clean and cook! Without women to take care of them, men will become aimless and start diddling each other...

Suzie, now that the Human-Animal Marriage Act has been pased, we can get married and you can wear that cute bonnet and carry a rose-and-hay bokay just like we planned... Cripes, There's Everett and his ram Chauncey. Sheesh--Why do they have to flaunt their same-sex bestial relationship? Don't they know it's a crime against nature?
And what's the deal with lesbian bestiality? Man-haters all of 'em! Everyone knows that ya need a male to herd, just like ya need a man to be president... We can't have same-sex bestial marriages! It demeans our relationships! What next? Animal-Animal Marriages? Bestial Marriage should only be between a Man and his Bitch, Cow or Ewe...
